Pizza Artista is locally owned and operated by Scott and Cynthia McClaskey, and Kirk Miller. These South Louisiana natives, are experts in the field of multi-unit operations, marketing, operational excellence, new store start ups, and team member development within the State of Louisiana.
Kirk Miller currently has 33 years experience in the pizza industry and was a multi-unit supervisor in Louisiana for a national pizza chain. He supervised a total of 29 delivery and carry-out units. Scott McClaskey currently has 34 years experience in single and mult-unit operations within the pizza industry and was also a multi-unit supervisor in Louisiana for a national pizza chain. He supervised a total of 23 delivery and carry-out units.
Cynthia McClaskey has approximately eight years experience in single unit operations and management with a local, Louisiana-based pizza company, as well as another 20 years of experience in customer relations and marketing within the restaurant industry.
Having spent over 30 years each in the industry, Kirk and Scott decided they wanted to build something special ... something different ... something amazing. Watching the trends in the food industry take a turn to fast-casual dining, the McClaskeys and Miller decided it was time to bring Louisiana a fast-casual concept that not only focused on speed of service, but excellence in customer hospitality.
As Louisiana locals, they have incorporated the authentic Cajun flavors of South Louisiana into their "create your own," Signature, and Chef-inspired, pizzas. Their goal is to offer the freshest ingredients possible to their guests while maintaining high standards in all areas of their operations.
